Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin was  born in Boston on Milk Street on January 17, 1706 and died in Philadelphia on April 17, 1790. He was educated at the Boston Latin School, 1714 until 1716. He married Deborah Reed and had three children, William, Sarah and Francis. As an interesting fact, we often think of Benjamin Franklin as a Founding Father of the United States, but he was not only an American Patriot, he travleved extensively in Europe. Franklin crossed the Atlantic eight times visiting ten countries. Mr. Franklin was a skilled diplomat and made treaties in Great Britain, France, Germany, Spain and Sweden.
